Lost and found animals

If a pet dog or cat is found roaming, council will try to identify and return the pet to its registered home. The pet will be taken to Sippy Creek Animal Pound if:

  • no one is home
  • an owner cannot be identified through microchipping or registration information.
  • an owner cannot be contacted.

If you have found an animal please contact council.

Animal cages

You can borrow a cage from council if you wish to impound domestic cats that are roaming onto your property. There is no fee to use the cage. For more information on this service please contact council.

If you suspect the roaming cats are feral, please contact council for more information.

Lost animals

Council publishes a list of lost animals impounded at the Sippy Creek Animal Pound that is updated regularly. If your animal is lost and cannot be identified below please contact council.
