Nomination criteria
Outstanding service, contribution or achievement by an individual aged 65 years or over, as of 30 November 2025.
The recipient will be an inspirational role model and display continued excellence in their field and in the community.
Nominations require 300-500 words addressing assessment criteria.

Assessment criteria
- Please outline the nominee’s outstanding service, contribution or achievement.
(List the activities, groups, or causes they’ve helped with – outside of any paid work.) - How has the nominee gone above and beyond what’s expected?
(Explain how their efforts exceed normal community involvement or role duties - consider the length of service, consistency, and dedication.) - What impact have their efforts had on others?
(Share examples of how they’ve made a real difference.) - Why do you believe this person deserves to be Senior Citizen of the Year?
