Suncorp Super Netball First Nations Round

Fans can expect a celebration of Indigenous culture and heritage, with local First Nations performances throughout. The Dreaming Collective #NRW2025 Breakfast

Join us for a morning of truth-telling, cultural connection, and community at the National Reconciliation Week 2025 Breakfast for the Sunshine Coast, proudly hosted by Carly Forrest, Founder of The Dreaming Collective. Held at the iconic Alex Heads Surf Club, this event will bring together First Nations peoples, non-Indigenous allies, business leaders, community organisations, and government representatives to mark NRW through connection and shared purpose.
From the sea, the land and the mountains

Celebrating First Nations artists from the traditional lands of the Sunshine Coast Region. This three-part exhibition profiles the art practice of Kabi Kabi and Jinibara artists – the paintings and installation art of up-and-coming Kabi Kabi artist, Zartisha Davis, the works of artist Kane Brunjes (Gunggari/Kabi Kabi), with assistance from Birrunga Gallery Hub, and a collective of Jinibara artists sharing their stories through printmaking.

2025 Reconciliation in Action Professional Learning Day

Sunshine Coast Council's Kids in Action Program, in collaboration with the Australian Association for Environmental Education Qld Chapter and UniSC, are proud to present a unique Professional Learning Day on Country. Together with Gubbi Gubbi/Kabi Kabi, Jinibara, and First Nations community members and Elders, we aim to provide an enriching and meaningful experience for teachers and educators across the Sunshine Coast and neighbouring regions.
