In celebration of his new album, singer-songwriter Ziggy Alberts is embarking on his Laps Around The Sun World Tour and will make a stop at council’s Venue 114 for one performance only on Friday, December 14.

The world tour will see Ziggy headline venues of all shapes and sizes across Australia, New Zealand, UK, Europe, North America, South Africa and South America.

At only 24-years-old, Ziggy has released four records, co-founded his own label Commonfolk Records, played sold out tours across the world, and his music has effortlessly amassed more than 105 million streams, globally.

His new album Laps Around The Sun is his fifth record and the first full-length album since his 2014 Land & Sea release. It will be available in CD, LP and digital format world-wide from November 9.

Ziggy is no stranger to life on the road. The world tour celebrates the next chapter in his growing career and will take him to both foreign and familiar lands.

Ziggy is an energetic performer with songs that carry powerful messages about his passion for the ocean and environment, love stories and memories of being on the road as a touring musician.

Somehow Ziggy continues to truly connect with his audience, despite the growing room sizes at every show.

Expect your night at Venue 114 to be a musical journey of dancing, sing-a-longs, and unplugged favourites, with Ziggy having the crowd bouncing one moment to silently swaying the next.

London-based singer-songwriter Nathan Ball will be the support act and his music crosses traditional boundaries of indie, folk and electronic.

Venue 114, formerly known as Lake Kawana Community Centre, is located at 114 Sportsmans Parade, Bokarina. Doors and bar open at 7pm. This is an all ages, standing, licenced event.

Tickets are just $45 per person and are available online or by calling Venue 114 on 07 5413 1400.
