Tiger Airways now offers daily Sunshine Coast - Melbourne services

Sunshine Coast Airport welcomes Tiger Airways’ announcement of daily direct services to and from Melbourne commencing in March 2010.

Sunshine Coast Airport welcomes Tiger Airways’ announcement of daily direct services to and from Melbourne commencing in March 2010.

Airport General Manager Peter Pallot said the daily flights would increase Tiger Airways’ seat capacity to 130,000 per annum.

“With daily flights operating, this again reflects and reinforces the partnership between Sunshine Coast Airport and Tiger Airways,” Mr Pallot said.

Managing Director of Tiger Airways Australia, Shelley Roberts said the airline was delighted to be able to offer additional seats on the Sunshine Coast - Melbourne route.

From today, bookings can be made for daily flights for travel from Sunday, March 28 2010, between Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast.
