Sunshine Coast Council is proud to present free Successful Blogging information sessions throughout April and May at various library locations.

Session presenter, Annabel Candy created a ‘Get in the Hot Spot’ travel blog in 2009 which now has more than 13,000 readers per month.

Ms Candy will show participants why blogging is a powerful and cost effective marketing tool for writers and small business owners. She will share success stories on how to get started and how to come up with great post ideas. The session will also cover the importance of creating compelling headlines, how to format your posts and how to find readers.

Library and Gallery Services Manager, Ross Duncan said that even if you are new to blogging or looking for a way to expand your business online this session is a must to attend.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for business owners to advance their communication skills in the exciting area of social media," he said.

"Annabel will explain how blogging can increase awareness of a business with the goal to increase their income.

"These sessions are certain to book out, so I encourage locals to book early to avoid disappointment."

To book visit council’s website or call your local library.
