Pet registration renewals now overdue

A reminder to all dog and cat owners on the Sunshine Coast that renewals for 2016/17 pet registrations were due by September 30, and infringement notices will be issued from November 21 for any remaining outstanding renewals.

The infringement for unpaid renewals is $243.

If you haven’t received a renewal notice, your pet’s details have changed or you no longer own your pet, you must contact council as soon as possible to update your details so as to avoid receiving an infringement.

There are several convenient payment methods available including online payments via MyCouncil or BPay, over the phone, via Australia Post or at a council customer contact centre.
