Sunshine Coast Council has launched an exciting program of school holiday activities to help parents entertain their children over the coming summer break at various library and gallery locations across the Coast.

There are more than 90 exciting school holiday events for families to choose from which are conveniently located across the region.
There is something for everyone including Christmas craft and storytelling, making your own piñata for your next party, making upcycled clothing, attending a fun Family Night In and much more.
There are Animated Movie-Making Workshops where children will find themselves working in groups as a director, a writer, an actor or film crew making a short film based on a chosen book.
For those children who want to discover their creative talents Caloundra Regional Gallery, Noosa Regional Gallery and the Butter Factory Arts Centre are running a range of workshops including cartooning, ceramics, weaving and Summer ArtScools.
The good news for mums and dads is there is a great range of library and gallery programs that are free and creative art workshops including materials for only $15 per child.
We encourage families to take advantage of these fun-filled activities to entertain the children throughout the coming holidays.
