Entertain the whole family these school holidays with a range of fun-filled and affordable activities at Sunshine Coast Council’s performance venues across the Coast.

The Lake Kawana Community Centre, Nambour Civic Centre and The J Noosa have joined forces to secure a great range of events to keep children entertained during the school holidays.

Nambour Civic Centre will kick off the holiday fun with a cinema screening of The Croods with kids receiving free popcorn from 24 to 26 June. iPad workshops return by popular demand on 1 July where children will get to film their own short movie with costumes and props.

The J Noosa offers a stellar line up throughout the holidays with events to entertain the whole family including Jumping at the J, Cinderella at the Disco, Warren Miller’s Flow State, Raymond Crow: World Renowned Hand Shadow Artist. There is even a live performance of Nadia and The Blue Flamingo including pre-show activities for the kids.

And the fun doesn’t stop there. The Lake Kawana Community Centre offers art workshops with dinosaur and circus themes on 3 July and you can even make your own short movie in the iPad workshops on 2 July. Older kids will enjoy Melbourne pop-rock band Masketta Fall performing an ‘all ages’ gig on 6 July as part of their national tour.

Early bookings are encouraged for all holiday events by contacting the venues direct or booking online.
