Mooloolaba movies under the stars, back for the summer!

It’s lights, camera, action, down on the sand at Mooloolaba as the Summer Beach Movie Series kicks off this weekend.

The community is invited to enjoy free movies under the stars, proudly supported by the Sunshine Coast Council, Mooloolaba Chamber of Commerce and Mooloolaba Rotary.

Division 4 Cr John Connolly said it was exciting to have the movies back on Mooloolaba Beach for the summer.

“What a fabulous combination - outdoor movies with the backdrop of Mooloolaba beach,” Cr Connolly said.

“We had such a successful year last year, and we’re looking forward to seeing even more people enjoying the free outdoor movies.

“And to start the season on Sunday (November 25), I am proud to say the event will be in support of White Ribbon Day.

“There’ll be free entertainment, fun activities, in addition to the movie under the stars.

“White Ribbon Australia provide such important services to the community, so it’s great that we can support and raise awareness.

“We encourage everyone to come along throughout the summer and enjoy the movies under the stars.”

Mooloolaba’s Summer Beach Movies Series will be held in front of the Loo with a View.

Movies will start at sundown which will vary the starting times.
