Monsoon RockStock, a debut diverse Rock, Punk and Metal music festival featuring 16 bands will take council’s Lake Kawana Community Centre by storm on Saturday, March 4, 2017.
This independent, inaugural event is presented by Vicarious Events and Hostile Entertainment.
Collectively, the duo has more than 20 years of experience in engaging the music scene on the Sunshine Coast and regional Australia. They believe there is a market gap for rock, punk and metal heads to have their senses satisfied in light of the recent falling of some of Australia’s largest hallmark festivals.
The event is licensed, all ages, running 12 hours of music from noon over two massive 15 metre by 10 metre stages. There will be no clashes of bands playing, with five-minute change-overs in between each act.
The line-up is now officially announced and includes feature local acts Hobo Magic (psychedelic rock), Transvaal Diamond Syndicate (blues rock), Holistic (metal), Not to Regret (punk rock) and New Clear Vision (industrial). Co-headlining the bill is Regurgitator (rock), Frenzal Rhomb (punk) and King Parrot (metal).
The full line-up includes Frenzal Rhomb, Regurgitator, King Parrot Darkcell, Osaka Punch, Transvaal Diamond Syndicate Hobo Magic, Not to Regret, Holistic Plan of Attack, Brisbane OI, Heavy Roller, Seraphic, Kobrakai, New Clear Vision and Mister Ioso Moose Knuckle.
