Eligible not-for-profit community sporting organisations looking for a home are invited to register their interest to use the multi-use sport and recreation facility at McMartin Park, Bli Bli.

Sunshine Coast Council Division 9 Councillor Stephen Robinson said an exciting opportunity has become available for an eligible not-for-profit community sporting organisation to call McMartin Park home from March to September annually.

“The successful sporting group will enjoy the benefits of this tranquil 1.8 hectare site which features sporting fields, a clubhouse and car parking,” he said.

“McMartin Park, located at 44 Lefoes Road, is the long-term home to Bli Bli Little Athletics Club and the Bli Bli Tennis Club who will remain as users of the facility.

“The sporting facilities could be used for a variety of different community sporting activities.

“Opportunities like this do not come around often, so I encourage eligible not-for-profit organisations to register their interest by 15 November.

“Council looks forward to seeing this important community facility used to its full potential as an active recreational sports complex.”

Registrations of Interest and additional information can be obtained by contacting council’s Contract Administrator at [email protected] or by phoning 5475 7272.
