Maroochy Library set to roll out new carpet

Sunshine Coast Council today announced it is enhancing the Maroochydore Library with the installation of new carpet on the lower level over the Labour Day long weekend, 5 to 7 May 2012.

Library and Gallery Services Manager, Ross Duncan said the installation of the new carpet is part of an ongoing upgrade of the Library to ensure it remains a welcoming and contemporary facility for the community to enjoy.

"We will need to close the library for this work to take place and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause customers," he said.

"All other council libraries will be open on their normal Saturday trading hours.

"Maroochydore Library will reopen on Tuesday 8 May at 9am and the installation of the new carpet will be celebrated with children’s storytelling at 9.30am."
