Sunshine Coast Libraries supports all community members to have access to library books, resources and services.

If you are unable to visit one of the library branches or mobile libraries, there is a free home library service available to people with illness, disability or limited mobility.

Community Portfolio Councillor Jenny McKay said the home library service was a great way of making sure the whole community can benefit from our libraries.

“It also has great social benefits as each borrower is connected with a volunteer,” Cr McKay said.

“The volunteers choose, deliver and return books and other library items to the borrower, based on their requests and preferences.

“The home library service brings the benefits of the library into people’s homes whilst also enhancing community participation and connections for volunteers and borrowers.”

To find out more about the home library service phone (07) 5475 8989 or visit the library website.
