Karawatha Drive, Road Works

Road stabilising work will continue on a section of Karawatha Dr, between Mountain Cr Rd (west) and Brianna Close from 7 to 8 August.

These works, which form part of Council’s Road Rehabilitation Program was required to correct this section of road which was failing and cracking.

The next phase of work is due to commence late next week, weather depending, with bitumen surfacing and an asphalt wearing course.

To minimise disturbance to adjacent property owners, traffic is being diverted onto the northern eastbound lanes (one lane each way) until work is completed.

Wet weather in July affected these works which commenced 21 July.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
