Jimmy Barnes and Paul Kelly join Powderfinger at Caloundra Music Festival

The Caloundra Music Festival today announces its second round of headline artists with Jimmy Barnes and Paul Kelly headlining a stellar line-up at the 2010 event. The festival has already broken all previous attendance records with the Friday night performance by Powderfinger and Jet already sold out.

The annual festival of Sun, Surf and Soul, now in its 4th year, will be held 8-10 October at beautiful Kings Beach. Fans who missed out on tickets to see Powderfinger on Friday night will be pleased to see the great line-up for the rest of the weekend.

Jimmy Barnes will perform on Saturday along with Tim Finn, Jon Stevens, Lior and The Audreys.

Paul Kelly will finish the festival on Sunday along with Ash Grunwald, Jon Cleary and Katie Noonan and the Captains.

Festival Director Richie Eyles said the remaining tickets are expected to sell out fast.

“Friday is already sold out, and now we have announced such a great line-up for the rest of the weekend I expect they will go quickly too”, Richie Eyles said.

More acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

Weekend tickets are available for $115 adults/$87 youth/pensioner.

Individual day tickets (Saturday or Sunday) are available for $73 adults/$56 youth/pensioner.
