Division 5 Councillor Jenny McKay said during the annual Celebration of Books, Maleny Library will host a beautiful display of books by May Gibbs, Miles Franklin, Dorothea MacKellar and many more.
“Maleny Library has once again teamed up with a number of Maleny groups and businesses to take part in the Celebration of Books,” Cr McKay said.
“The fifth Celebration of Books will not disappoint. With four bookshops, numerous writers in residence and myriad book events and book clubs, Maleny has a well-earned reputation as a town of books, reading and writing.
“So if you love books make sure you head to Maleny for the Celebration of Books.”
Visit Maleny Library from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday, June 20 until Friday, July 8 (Saturdays 9am to noon) to view this free display of first editions.
