Grab a bargain at Maleny Library book sale

Sunshine Coast Libraries, in partnership with the Friends of Maleny Library, invites readers to grab a bargain at our book sale on Saturday, April 6 from 9am to 12pm.

Community Portfolio Councillor Jenny McKay said it’s a wonderful opportunity for residents to nab a book bargain.

“It’s a win, win because the money raised at these book sales is usually put straight back into the library to benefit the local community,” Cr McKay said.

“However on this occasion, as a special gesture, the proceeds will be donated to Queensland farmers during their time of need.

“The libraries are always removing old stock to make way for new titles, so there are lots of great items up for grabs at very affordable prices.

“Titles on sale include popular authors and bestsellers, classic books and a range of genres including mystery, romance, thrillers and more.

“Young bookworms don’t miss out as there is also a range of junior titles on sale.

“There’s even some DVDs and CDs on offer. Bring a bag and make sure you are early to grab a bargain.

“So mark April 6 in your diary and help us make this the best book sale ever to support a worthy cause.”
