Join Tour De Force: In Case of Emergency Break Glass curator Megan Bottari at the Noosa Regional Gallery on 4 November as she discusses the works of the eight progressive Australian artists who are pushing the boundaries of traditional methods and materials in glassmaking.

Megan Bottari’s practice combines making, writing and curating, since graduating from the ANU School of Art Glass Workshop in 2004.

As a current curator at the Bega Regional Art Gallery, she maintains her keen interest in glassmaking, publishing and exhibitions, offering to stretch audience imagination, and ‘vowing never to succumb to creating a glass fish - or anything in cobalt blue’.

This travelling exhibition brings a force to be reckoned with, delivering an inspiring new focus on the glass medium.
