If you catch the bus or train, you’ll want to take a look at the new Sunshine Coast Public Transport Guide which provides handy step-by-step information for travelling around the region.

Transport Portfolio Councillor Rick Baberowski said the new version of the guide – developed by Council and its partners – covered all modes of public transport.

“The guide is a helpful tool for locals and visitors alike – it includes a map of the public transport routes across our region, ticketing details and travel tips,” Cr Baberowski said.

“It has everything you need to know about local transport options packaged up conveniently to fit in your pocket.

“In addition to buses and trains, the guide also mentions real time info, regional taxi services, and Council’s pre-booked Flexilink and Council Link services.

“The guide is funded by the Transport Levy and is one of several Council initiatives that make it easier for people to get around the Sunshine Coast.”

Cr Baberowski said the guide was available online and in hard copy.

“You can download the guide from Council’s website, or grab a copy at our customer service centres, libraries or visitor information centres,” he said.

“You’ll also find it in transit centres, caravan parks and other accommodation providers.”
