Dusk - Free outdoor music event returns to Venue 114

Sunshine Coast Council’s Venue 114 in collaboration with Community Solutions are once again holding their popular free outdoor music event Dusk on the foreshore of Lake Kawana on Sunday 8 September from 2pm.

Thanks to the Caloundra Music Festival, guests will receive a small taste of the popular music event with festival headliners performing on the outdoor stage.

Artists Isabel Wood, Dave Orr Band and The Dreggs will entertain the crowd against a backdrop of the sun setting over the lake.

Alternative pop artist Isabel Wood will kick off the music line-up with her infectious melodies and relatable lyrics fused with her well known electronic productions. With a string of singles set to be released this year, Isabel Wood is sure to become a household name both locally and nationally.

Acoustic picking and raw bluesy rock soloist, Dave Orr will follow up showcasing his impressive guitar skills, and unique song writing ability, cultivated over a long career in the music industry.

The Dreggs will finish the event on a high with their indie-rock, roots, reggae and Americana energetic vibe that pays homage to the local coastline and ocean influences.

Families and guests are encouraged to bring picnic rugs and be prepared for an entertaining afternoon and evening celebrating live music, art and culture on the Sunshine Coast.

Dusk includes food trucks, a licensed bar and roving entertainment by Kawana Waters State College Creative Industries students. Radio station 92.7 Mix FM will also broadcast live at Dusk.
