Work on the first stage of an impressive make-over of section of the Coastal pathway was completed last week adding a wow factor to this popular walk.

Sunshine Coast Divisional Councillor Tim Dwyer said Dingle Avenue’s new look, including feature seating around existing Pandanus palms has impressed both local residents and regular pathway users.

“The results are simply stunning – Council officers have managed to retain four signature Pandanus palms and install new timber seating, together with some impressive paving, to really capture and enhance the natural beauty of the site,” Cr Dwyer said.

The works have addressed erosion concerns around the beach access, as well as providing a spectacular viewing and rest area.

Upgrade works include new feature seating, sandstone paving, and a new rock retaining wall.
