Have you seen the new $1.4 million two-lane boat ramp at Nojoor Road? It’s an absolute ripper for boaties and includes a floating pontoon walkway, a sealed bitumen car park with 45 trailer and car spaces and connecting pathways – and it was finished seven weeks ahead of schedule!

It’s a terrific improvement on the previous gravel entry point that lacked parking facilities. Having the formal car and trailer parking improves safety in the area around the boat ramp and makes it much easier for boaties to get out onto the beautiful Maroochy River.
This project was a great collaboration between the Queensland Government and council with both tiers of government contributing towards the project and it was great to officially open the new facilities with Member for Maroochydore Fiona Simpson and Member for Murrumba Chris Whiting.
