With the growing popularity of the local early evening market at Cliff Hargreaves Park, it was identified that lighting improvements were needed at the foreshore. Solar powered lights are now in place to ensure adequate lighting for attendees to continue enjoying the festivities as the sun goes down.

New addition kicking goals at Aroona Park
Our future goal kicking champions could get their start in Aroona Park with the new combination soccer and rugby goal posts now in place. This new infrastructure has been installed following community consultation and feedback that asked for more things for our kids to do at the park. The posts are on the Miranda Street side of the park and ready for some footy action.
Coastal pathway connectivity
I’m pleased to share the Bokarina section of our Coastal Pathway is progressing well with concrete pours underway. Around 60% of the 600m section between Driftwood Court and Wyanda Park is now set and the full section is expected to be open for use in July.
