Responsible pet ownership sessions

It was great to see so many residents attend the pop-up education stall at Ballinger Beach on November 7. While I was there I took the opportunity to join council officers on beach patrol. I can’t reiterate it enough that every dog owner must take responsibility to pick up after their dog to keep our environment clean, and remain in control of their dog/s at all times whether on or off leash to ensure the safety of people and other animals. Tough penalties do apply so familiarise yourself with the information contained on council’s website - www.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au/Living-and-Community/Animals-and-Pets

Future pop-ups:

Peacock Park playground upgrade, Bokarina

I’m pleased to announce the completion of the Peacock Park playground upgrade and it looks great. The new playground includes a one level climber and slide, toddler play swan rocker and new double swing. A big thank you to everyone for your patience during construction. Wishing you all many years of fun and play together at Bokarina’s newest playground.
