Banner saying Water Safety Program

After a short break, Royal Life Saving Society Queensland’s migrant water safety program returns to Nambour Aquatic Centre this November.

Join us for a program designed to help everyone feel confident in and around water. It’s open to culturally and linguistically diverse community members.

Program details

  • Dates: 17–21 November 2025 (Monday to Friday)
  • Sessions: Morning 9-10am or afternoon 5-6pm
  • Venue: Nambour Aquatic Centre
  • Bonus: Free swim pack included

Why is the migrant water safety program important?

In Queensland, 1 in 3 drowning deaths involve people born overseas. That’s why we’re committed to breaking down barriers to swimming and water safety.

Join us in Nambour for a program that’s not just about swimming — it’s about saving lives, building confidence and community.

Bookings

  • Opens: 8 September 2025
  • Places: Limited

Proudly supported by Sunshine Coast Council’s grants program.
