The Bike Skills program is designed for children who are already riding independently and want to build the skills and confidence needed for bike paths, family rides and everyday adventures.

Through fun games, practical exercises and real-world riding scenarios, riders will learn how to be smoother, safer and more confident.

  • Balance and bike stability
  • Braking and speed control
  • Cornering and steering
  • Riding around other people safely
  • Situational awareness and hazard recognition
  • Bike path etiquette.

Riding to school, exploring local pathways or simply wanting to become a more capable rider, this program builds skills that last a lifetime. Parents must remain onsite.

Limited places available, bookings essential.

The sessions are offered for free as part of Council’s ThinkChange program.
