Replanting with native plants

Replanting with native plants have many positives for the surrounding environment.

Replanting areas once you have removed invasive plants will help to:

  • stop erosion
  • stop invasive plants from re-growing due to reduced space, nutrients and sunlight available
  • create canopy cover
  • attract native wildlife to your garden
  • create cooler micro-climates on your property.

See council's Native plants page for more information.
