Lady finger orchids
These orchids mainly blossom in white, with the pink variant occurring less often.

Heading into spring with style, the lady finger orchids (Caladenia spp) of sclerophyll woodland can be found flowering over the coming months.
With a preference toward sandier soils, if you are out for a walk, keep an eye out over the coming months for these showy orchids. The flowers are singular, rarely 2+, the white form is the more common variant with the pink occurring less often.
A reliable location for sighting the species is along the upland bushwalk track at the Maroochy Regional bushland botanic garden.
