The good news is teenagers have more time to register to participate in the Youth Buy, Swap and Sell Bazaar at Council’s Lake Kawana Community Centre which has been rescheduled to Wednesday, December 16.

Have you ever wished for an opportunity to create unique items of jewellery, works of art or just de-clutter your cupboard whilst making some extra cash on the side?

This is an opportunity for young people aged 12 to 17 to sell items to people of their own age, from clothes to jewellery to artwork, you name it!

There will also be live music performances from talented local young artists, quality coffee, hot food and snacks available for purchase from the venue.

Boys don’t be shy - this event is for you too.

The Youth Bazaar will be free admission to the general public – giving you the perfect opportunity to sell your pre-loved items or handmade fabulous pieces. You can sell pretty much anything at the Youth Bazaar, as long as it’s not food. Parent’s consent will be essential, as well as a $15 registration fee per stall.

So start creating. We’re hoping to see plenty of different works of art, handmade jewellery and anything in between.

If you are interested in holding a stall, please register your interest by emailing [email protected] as stalls are filling up quickly. Please phone 5413 1400 or visit Council’s venues and events website www.scvenuesandevents.com.au for further details.
