Exhibitions, workshops, supporting and promoting local artists, providing the opportunity for a regional audience to experience the work of national and international artists – what do you think the role of a regional gallery is?

Come along to Friday3Live at Caloundra Regional Gallery on March 16 from 6-8pm to hear insights from leading industry professionals about the role of a regional gallery.

Caloundra Regional Gallery curator Hamish Sawyer will lead the panel discussion and will be joined by Gold Coast City Art Gallery director, Tracy Cooper-Lavery, Artisan CEO Claire Sourgnes and renowned Sunshine Coast artist Peter Hudson.

Places are limited so please book via the gallery website. The cost to attend is just $5.

Check out the new look gallery and The Artroom following recent renovations, enjoy live music from Sunshine Coast performer Angela Iimura, complimentary light snacks and a cash bar for drink purchases.

Friday3Live is held at the gallery on the third Friday of every month and includes a changing program of interactive activities, music, talks and performances.

Owned and operated by Sunshine Coast Council, Caloundra Regional Gallery is located at 22 Omrah Avenue and is open Tuesday to Friday 10am - 4pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am - 2pm.
