Tickets go on sale noon Friday for Bernard Fanning’s national Departures Tour

Sunshine Coast Council today announced tickets go on sale at noon this Friday 10 May for the Bernard Fanning’s Departures Tour for one performance only at Nambour Civic Centre on Sunday 14 July 2013.

If good things come in threes, Bernard Fanning just hit the trifecta; first confirming a new album, releasing the new single ‘Battleships’ and recently announcing a huge national tour throughout July and August.

Bernard Fanning’s Sunshine Coast fans will be the first to hear the forthcoming album Departures live which includes his new single ‘Battleships’, which has already been embraced across the nation.

Speaking of the tour, Bernard says: “I can't wait to get out into the wide brown land with a new batch of tunes and a new band. This new album is much more energetic so it's going to make for a really dynamic show when paired with the stuff from Tea & Sympathy.”

Bernard is thrilled to take a couple of handpicked special guests, Big Scary and Vance Joy along for the ride and support this tour.

Tickets are $69.90 and will be on sale from noon sharp this Friday 10 May and are available from the Nambour Civic Centre Box Office located at Currie Street, by calling 5475 7777, or visiting the website. Please note this is strictly an 18+ licensed event.
