A new public art projection will be installed by Sunshine Coast Council at Noosa Junction station.
Commuters can experience the light and dark of Wallum’s Shadow from Friday 2 December for three months.
It is the second featured projection artwork in a series of four to be shown at the station.
Well known Sunshine Coast projection and new media artist James Muller from Earth Base Productions has produced the artwork titled Wallum’s Shadow.
Wallum’s Shadow traces a path of alternate cultural memory hidden in the swamps and heathland of Noosa’s coastal fringe.
James Muller said it is a journey of tension and expansion, and strange encounters upon the terrain of human ecology.
Wallum’s Shadow uses time-lapse photography, digital compositing, cinematic styles and experimental narrative combined with a sparse and atmospheric soundtrack created by Shannon Sol Carrol.
The public launch of Wallum’s Shadow will take place at Noosa Junction station on Friday 2 December at 6.30pm.
