Sally Skelton
After capturing Australia’s heart in her epic comeback to The Voice as a semi-finalist this year, Sunshine Coast’s Sally Skelton is back home, gracing the stage with her angelic voice.
Young Sally began her love for music at the age of seven through the likes of classical violin. Soon after, she began singing and hasn’t stopped.
Spending this year working with industry greats such as the legendary Joe Jonas, the 20-year-old singer/songwriter has taken to the Australian music scene with her gorgeous and unparalleled take on folk/pop.
Praised for her dedication and melt-worthy vocals, Sally recorded her first song at the age of 14, has since been titled as Fast Track’s best singer/songwriter of 2015 and has swept thousands off their feet in her live performances on national television.
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Joni Mitchell to Gabrielle Aplin, the songstress pens enchanting tunes for a mesmerising live experience for all.
Homegrown
Katelyn, Liam and Kasey O’Donoghue make up the Homegrown brother and sisters act. They were raised on properties in Far North Queensland and have performed together all their lives.
From an early age they travelled to festivals and talent quests all over Queensland and beyond performing wherever there was an audience – everything from thousands at the Gympie Muster to busking or sold-out ticketed shows at Tamworth. More recently, they took to The Voice stage on national TV and wowed the audience with a 4-chair turn joining Team Joe Jonas.
Chang Po Ching
Hailing from South Auckland, New Zealand, Chang Po Ching's golden pipes give props to his cultural heritage of the beautiful island of Samoa. Moving to Australia at the age of nine, Chang has not stopped singing, sharing his voice and heart with everyone he meets.
Chang's dad first taught him guitar before he could belt out a note as his mother played the organ and would often sing him to sleep.
Pop stars Usher and Michael Jackson became the first of many icons that captured Chang's time growing up and from there, going back in time to music legends such as Donny Hathaway, Elvis, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, and Lionel Richie to name a few which shaped the flavour and style that Chang would soon fit into.
Chang is a songwriter and full time musician with his material that you can hear on Spotify and iTunes. All over Australia, people have heard his majestic voice and found new fans as a semi-finalist on The Voice 2018.
