Do you find technology confusing? Become a technology trendsetter and expand your digital world at Nambour Library’s new TechBar.

Division 10 Councillor Greg Rogerson joined the community to ‘test drive’ new technology at the unveiling of the TechBar.

“The TechBar provides an opportunity for the public to discover how to use the latest technology including Apple, Android, Microsoft and Sony devices which will be available for experimentation and play,” Cr Rogerson said.

“You can check out the differences between the devices and familiarise yourself with the different operating systems and decide which one suits you best before buying.

“The technology will also be used to demonstrate the extensive range of eLibrary resources including eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, eMusic and eMovies.

“The public can register to attend demonstrations in November which will provide an opportunity to learn some tech basics, compare computers and tablets and discover eLibrary resources.”

This project has received financial assistance from the Queensland Government through State Library of Queensland.
