Councillor Anna Grosskreutz will be giving away tube stock plants to Division 1 residents on Saturday 26 March and Sunday 27 March, at the following locations:

Saturday 26 March

  • 8am to 9.30am – GlassHouse Mountains, Uniting Park (near the neighbourhood centre)
  • 10am to 11.30am – Beerwah, Mill Park
  • 12.30pm to 2pm – Landsborough, In front of Landsborough Railway Station
  • 2.30pm to 4pm – Glenview, Glenview School Carpark

Sunday 27 March

  • 8.30am to 10am – Kawana Forest, Woodlands Park
  • 10.30am to noon – Ivadale, Ivadale Park, Tall Trees Way
  • 1pm to 2.30pm – Little Mountain, Little Mountain Common

All Division 1 residents are welcome at any of these times or locations and will all be eligible to receive two free tube stock plants, if they bring their current year’s rates notice. Cr Grosskreutz will also honour past rates notices provided they have not been stamped for collection.

There will be a choice of trees, natives and ground covers and a council horticulturalist will be on hand to answer all your questions about the growing conditions and best locations for your new plants.
