Kids playing with fake snow at Winter Wunderland 2024

Locals and visitors are invited to rug up and head to Bulcock Street from 4pm to 8pm on Friday, June 20, for the Winter Wunderland Street Party.

The free family-friendly event will include street performances, a winter market, local cuisine and late-night retail.

From face painting and rides to art demonstrations and hands-on workshops, the street party promises to engage, excite and entertain everyone.

Sunshine Coast Division 2 Councillor Terry Landsberg encouraged the community to embrace the winter magic.

“Winter Wunderland is a truly special event that brings our community together in the most magical way,” Cr Landsberg said.

“In its third year, the event has grown to attract more than 10,000 fans with many coming from outside the region, including Brisbane.

“It’s a chance to experience the joy of winter by the sea, support local businesses and create unforgettable memories with family and friends.

“I encourage everyone to come along and enjoy the snow, the entertainment and the vibrant atmosphere in beautiful Caloundra.”

From 4.30pm, families can enjoy free kids art, live music, exhibitions and a cash bar at Caloundra Regional Gallery – accessible via Felicity Park from Bulcock Street.
