Sunshine Coast Council is proud to present multi-award winning artist Judith Rosenberg’s latest exhibition Intaglio Works at Noosa Regional Gallery until 12 August 2012.

Rosenberg’s Intaglio Works includes a collection of limited edition, hand-coloured prints (etchings) and drawings that explore various themes capturing the impressions of our ecological situation. Visitors to the gallery will view through the eyes of the artist the devastating 2011 Queensland floods.

Although trained as a painter, renowned local artist, Judith Rosenberg, a graduate from Leeds College of Art, UK, continued her arts practice that included roles as lecturer, workshop facilitator, arts group coordinator, illustrator and more recently, printmaker and book artist. She has exhibited widely in both group and solo shows for more than 30 years.

Intaglio Works is a fine representation of printmaking and demonstrates the practice of printmaking as an accepted and equal art form with other more traditional art forms.

All are welcome to attend the following Intaglio Works public program of events:

Friday 13 July at 10.30am, Artist Floor Talk with exhibiting artist: Judith Rosenberg. Enjoy an informal morning tea with the artist as she provides a fascinating insight into the works in Intaglio Works. Free event, bookings essential.
