More than 5500 curious visitors explored the some of the region’s historic, contemporary and sustainable buildings as part of the Sunshine Coast’s largest public architecture and design festival.

The Sunshine Coast Open house program was packed with many highlights including behind-the-scenes tours, a photo competition, panel discussions and industry and student events. It provided people with the rare opportunity to tour architecturally diverse, sustainable and historic buildings.

The festival included building tours stretching from Caloundra to Noosa and into the hinterland that attracted local and regional visitors including 200 people through City Hall and inviting visitors to chat live on air at the Sunshine Coast ABC studio.
