Bokarina Beach will be home to the Sunshine Coast’s newest high-performance community and sporting hub following Sunshine Coast Council’s approval of the Sunny Coast Shred Factory.

The Sunny Coast Shred Factory will be an integrated, multi‐purpose facility located on Bombora Drive in Stockland Pty Ltd’s Bokarina Beach development.

Local Councillor Peter Cox was pleased to welcome another high-performance community and sporting centre to Division 3.

“The Shred Factory will cater to the needs of both our Sunshine Coast community and athletes across a number of sporting codes,” Cr Cox said.

“The development includes an indoor swimming pool, indoor and outdoor skate parks, dance and yoga studios, gym, sports-related health care services, offices and a café.

“This facility is the latest asset to compliment the neighbouring Kawana sports precinct and will undoubtedly have a significant impact on attracting interstate and international athletes to our region.”

The site has been designated for a public access club facility through the Kawana Waters master planning process.
