Sunshine Coast Council’s Arthouse Cinema Nambour presents the next Old Skool Movie with the screening of the classic film Grease Sing-a-Long on Thursday, January 8 at 7pm.

This 1978 American musical romantic comedy about two lovers in a 1950’s high school starts when local boy Danny Zuko (John Travolta) and vacationing Sandy Olsson (Olivia Newton-John) meet at the beach and fall in love. The film moves to the start of the senior’s term at Rydell High School with the T-Birds and the Pink Ladies.

The movie was an immediate box office success and it is still reported as the number one, highest-grossing musical to date. This is the perfect family fun entertainment for these school holidays.

Come dressed as your favourite character and sing-a-long to “Grease”, “Summer Nights”, Hopelessly Devoted to You”, “You’re the One That I want” and many more.  Arthouse Cinema Nambour is a licensed venue where you can relax with a beverage while watching a movie.
