Grab a bargain at Maroochydore Library giant book sale

Avid readers will be able to bag a bargain at the giant two-day book sale at Maroochydore Library on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28.

Community Programs Portfolio Councillor Jenny McKay said Sunshine Coast Libraries were constantly removing older stock to make way for new titles, opening up the chance for Coast booklovers to add to their personal libraries.

“We have hundreds of books up for grabs at very affordable prices at the quarterly Friends of Maroochydore Library book sale from 9am to 4pm on Friday and 9am to 3pm on Saturday,” Cr McKay said.

“Titles on sale include popular authors and bestsellers, classic books and a range of genres including mystery, romance, thrillers and more.

“There is a book to suit everyone’s interests covering popular topics such as gardening, computers and cooking.

“Young bookworms don’t miss out as there will be a range of junior titles to choose from.

“This book sale provides a great opportunity to find some cheap reads just in time to stock up before the cool weather is upon us so make sure you bring a bag and be early to grab a book bargain.”

Maroochydore Library is located at 44 Sixth Avenue, Cotton Tree.
