Free trees for the planting!

If you’re a ‘green thumb’ or just keen to create greener environment make a date for Saturday 10 December at Arthur Street Hall, Caloundra.

Sunshine Coast Council will be giving away free trees from 8am to 11:30am. Division 2 Councillor Tim Dwyer said rate payers in Division 2 would receive two free trees per rates notice.

"There’ll be a choice of trees, natives and groundcovers and a council horticulturalist will be on hand to answer any queries and provide advice on all things green," he said.

The giveaway will be held at Arthur Street Hall, adjacent to the Caloundra Pool and Caloundra Tennis Courts in Arthur Street, Caloundra.
