Applications are now open for Council’s latest round of Grants funding, offering local, not-for-profit organisations the chance to bring great ideas to life.

From creative arts groups and heritage societies, to sporting clubs, chambers and community organisations, Minor Grants can support one-off projects, activities and events that benefit the Sunshine Coast community.

Strong Community Portfolio Councillor David Law is encouraging community groups right across the region to apply.

“Every year, Council runs grants programs to support and enable community organisations to deliver projects and activities that make a meaningful difference across our region,” Cr Law said.

“In this Minor Grants round, eligible not-for-profit organisations can apply for up to $3,000.

“Local groups, clubs and events play an important role in activating our neighbourhoods, strengthening connections and supporting our local economy.

“We want to support projects that bring people together, activate community spaces and create positive outcomes.

“If you’ve got a great idea that will make a difference, we want to hear from you.”
