Cr Dickson - Mooloolaba Master Plan endorsed
The community-guided Mooloolaba Master Plan plans development over the coming twenty years, to ensure the area continues to be user-friendly and to create more public space.
Council’s endorsement of the Place Making Mooloolaba Master Plan at the December meeting was a significant step for the future of Mooloolaba. The plan will guide development over the coming twenty years, to ensure the area continues to be user-friendly and to create more public space. Key deliverables will include more than 2 kilometres of coastal pathways, 1,000 extra parking spaces, and a water park. Formation of the plan was guided by community input received during the consultation period. Thank you to the community members that provided us with feedback.

Roadside vegetation maintenance to continue
Council’s memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Transport and Main Roads, regarding roadside vegetation maintenance, has been extended. As a result, council will maintain certain sections of state government roads, and will receive some funding to meet this cost. The Dixon and Claymore Road interchange is one of several sections of road that will benefit across the region.
