Currimundi Twilight Markets are back!

Thanks to an $8000 council ‘Community Partnership Fund’ grant, the Twilight Markets will be back in Currimundi from September. The Caloundra Chamber of Commerce run event will take place at Cliff Hargreaves Park on the third Friday of each month. It’s a great spot to grab a bite to eat and enjoy the sunset, whilst supporting our great local businesses. Hope to see you there!

Kawana Way under bridge lighting

I’m pleased to advise that three solar lights will soon be installed along the pathway at Kawana Way Bridge near Birtinya. The lighting will provide pedestrians and cyclists better visibility and safety when passing under the bridge in the morning and evening. Work is currently underway and the lights are expected to be up and running by mid-June, weather permitting.

Kawana Aquatic Centre

Work is currently underway to replace the filter in the 50m pool at Kawana Aquatic Centre. The project includes removing the existing sand filled filtration system and replacing it with a highly efficient and effective single filter, including new electrical supply and pipework.
