Country music star to play at Nambour Civic Centre

In just a few short weeks, Australian country music legend Lee Kernaghan and friends will be rocking the stage at Sunshine Coast Council’s Nambour Civic Centre with a night of vibrant entertainment

Lee is one of Australia’s most prolific country music artists. His passion to play has earned him three ARIA awards for Best Country Album, a whopping 33 Golden Guitars, and he has achieved 33 No.1 hits on the Australian country singles chart.

The show on Saturday, September 19 at 8pm will be like no other with Lee performing his show in two very special parts.

The musical journey will begin with the tales behind some of his most loved songs in an intimate acoustic unplugged session.

In the second half, fans will be among the first to see live performances of the songs from the #1 hit album Spirit of the ANZACS. Through incredible visualisations, the stories of the men and women who served our country will be brought to life.

Lee said this was some of the most powerful material he’s ever had the privilege to record in his career.

“The album takes you on a real journey, from the trenches of the Western Front to the bombing of Darwin, Kokoda, Long Tan, and the dust of Uruzgan Province in Afghanistan,” he said.

“It is a project that goes to the heart of who we are as a nation.”

Lee’s performance will also include top notch performances by modern country music artists The Wolfe Brothers, and rising country sensation Christie Lamb.

Tickets are $69.90 per adult, $49.90 for children 12 years and under or group bookings of 10 people or more pay just $64.90 each.
