If you would like to find out about the changes to the funding model for people living with a disability, make sure you attend one of the free council supported National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) sessions in November.
The NDIS is the new way of providing support for people with a disability, their families and carers in Australia.
It will provide around 460,000 Australians under the age of 65 living with a permanent and significant disability with the reasonable and necessary supports they need to live their fullest life.
This is your chance to listen to a range of guest speakers who will provide an overview of what the NDIS means for people who currently receive government funding, and for recipients under the new scheme.
