Bring your family and friends for a fun-filled morning of tree planting and community spirit! Together, we’ll help create vital habitat for local wildlife and leave a lasting legacy—one tree at a time.

We’re aiming to plant 6,000 native trees, shrubs, and ground covers to support species like the eastern grey kangaroo, wallum froglet, brown quail, Australian pipit, and grey-headed flying fox.

Event sessions and registration

This event is split into two sessions:

  • Session 1: 8 – 10 am
  • Session 2: 10 am – 12 pm

By offering two sessions, we can welcome more people while managing our limited on-site parking.

On-site parking and park and ride bus options – must be booked at checkout

To help us manage limited parking and bus capacity, you must select during registration. These are listed below the entry tickets.

Transport options include:

On-site Parking (limited to 50 cars per session)

Free park and ride buses from:

  • Peregian Springs State School: 7:45 am and departing event at 10 am; 9:45 am and departing event at 12 pm.
  • Landsborough (8.10 am), Palmview (8.40 am), Sippy Downs (8.55 am)- arriving at event approx. 9.30 am for 10 am - 12 pm Session 2; departing event site at 11.45 am
  • Caloundra (8.25 am), Kawana (8.55 am), Maroochydore (9.20 am) - arriving at event approx. 9.50 am for 10 am - 12 pm Session 2; departing event site at 11.50 am

Important: If you do not select a transport option, your registration will be incomplete. Book on-site parking per car - Book bus per person.

What to bring and know

  • All tools, plants, gloves, and guidance provided
  • Bring your own drinking water
  • Wear enclosed shoes and sun-safe clothing
  • Bring a reusable coffee cup to claim your free coffee
  • Safety briefing/planting demo required before planting
