The Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens is open daily from 7.00am to 5.00pm (April to October) and 7.00am to 6.00pm (November - March), admissions are free. The Cafe is open from 9.30am to 2.30pm Monday to Thursday

The Sculpture Garden, Contemplation Gardens, Friendship Colonnade and Open Lawn Gardens are popular for weddings and events, with a range of picnic facilities, shelters and natural shade available throughout.

The Arts and Ecology Centre is a specialised arts and ecology interpretative facility and offers tours where you can learn about the plants within the gardens. 

Domestic animals, such as dogs are not permitted in the gardens and there are no rubbish bins, please be responsible when visiting and take your rubbish with you.

The Maroochy Bushland Botanic Garden provides a number of tracks:

Whipbird Walk:  200 m circuit, designed for children and families, with hidden art and information for curious young explorers.

Ephemeral Wetland Walk: 400 m creek-side stroll past a frog pond and ground orchids.

Lagoon Walk: 900 m circuit through natural terrain.

Creek Walk: 1.4 km forested trail. Bushwalking experience recommended. Natural rough track, medium length trail.

Upland Bushwalk: 2.1 km along natural bush tracks with creek crossings and some steep slopes, recommended for experienced bushwalkers. 

Western Tall Gums Bushwalk: 3km of bushwalk through eucalypt forest and rainforest gullies. Grade 4 track, rough, very steep sections, creek crossings. Few directional signs. Track subject to flash flooding. For experienced bushwalkers only.
